Mosaic first began as an organisation developed by families to better meet the needs of their family member with disability and this purpose has continued with the Friends of Mosaic.
Membership of the group includes past and present clients and their family members, our Mosaic volunteers, past and present staff members, past and present Board Members and corporate supporters.
A number of events are held throughout the year, the biggest being the annual Friends of Mosaic event held in May each year when the entire Mosaic Family comes together to celebrate another year of seeking to fulfil our vision to ‘enrich the quality of life of people with disabilities’.
“It is the complete service – it is as if they (our family member) joined their (Mosaic’s) family like brothers and sisters and look out for one another. It’s not like a hospital.”
