2 House Coordinator Positions

As House Coordinator (Baldivis and Perth East Metropolitan locations), you will:

  • Provide leadership and be responsible for the overall management and development of your team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality outcomes for your clients.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of Mosaic’s strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of superior service focused on “Quality of Life”, using highly effective quality systems, leading person-centred practice, ensuring financial viability of service provision and compliance with all other relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Reflect professional boundaries, enhance positive relationships and work  within the Disability Services Act 1993 and associated National Standards for Disability Services and support the vision and values of Mosaic, keeping Clients’ needs at the centre of our service delivery.

What we require:

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with people with disability and mental health issues in supported accommodation.
  • Thorough practical working knowledge of human rights based approaches.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience managing a team of staff.

Casual Support Worker

Location: South of the river – Baldivis, Bertram, Brookdale, Canning Vale, Kenwick, Medina, Port Kennedy, Safety Bay, Samson, Spearwood, Thornlie and Waikiki

As A Support Worker you will:

  • Provide support to our clients so that they can achieve their dreams and aspirations
  • Empower our clients to be independent by respecting their right to make informed decisions and choices
  • Working with other Mosaic team members to assist with the coordination and delivery of services
  • Respect family members’ input in supporting clients

 What we require:

  • Demonstrated ability to assist people with personal care, living skills, transport and with meeting goals and needs
  • A practical general knowledge of a human rights based approach in the individual and community context.
  • Some experience and knowledge of the community sector, including contemporary issues, legislation and regulatory compliance (such as the National Standards for Disability Services, developments and opportunities and application of relevant standards.
  • Sound understanding of Mosaic’s vision and values
  • Ability to manage and support diverse individuals in a challenging environment
  • Experience of working within disability programs and/or services
  • Be client focused, professional, independent, highly motivated and resilient
