Welcome to Mosaic   Click to listen highlighted text! Welcome to Mosaic

At Mosaic we have a wide range of opportunities for volunteers. Whatever your skills or experience may be, there is much you can do to help people with disabilities. Volunteering is simple — it’s about giving your time to do something meaningful. Whilst these are not paid positions, any related expenses are reimbursed.

As well as the satisfaction and enjoyment from knowing you have helped to support a person to fulfill their dreams and aspirations, volunteering can be a great way to learn new skills, meet new people and assist you in employment opportunities.

Your talents and energy can make a huge impact and we are sure you will enjoy your experience and build some wonderful friendships.

  • Think about what you want from volunteering — new skills, a chance to contribute
  • Think about what you have to offer — enthusiasm, work skills, life skills
  • Verify how much time you have to give
  • Ask questions — don’t be shy.

As a volunteer you will be provided with First Aid training, Work Health Safety and Fire training, Infection Control training, Manual Handling training, Assist with Medication training, Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training and Safe Wheelchair Strapping training.

As a Mosaic volunteer we provide a “buddy” to support you in your role and assist you with assimilating into our team.

My observations and experience are that the team members are very good. The team members and carers exceed all expectations. Excursions and all activities are exceptional, there are even overseas trips involved.
